Infrastructure & Technology Operations Lead

Kwitee D. Gaylah is a Liberian technology executive, network engineer, and cybersecurity specialist serving as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TechDefense Inc. In this role, he leads the company’s technical strategy, infrastructure operations, and systems architecture, while executing responsibilities traditionally held by a Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Kwitee holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology, with an academic emphasis in Telecommunications, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Cyber Security and Law. This dual background equips him with a rare blend of deep technical expertise and regulatory awareness, enabling him to design secure, compliant, and scalable digital infrastructure in challenging and underserved environments.

At TechDefense, Kwitee is responsible for the end-to-end design, deployment, and operation of network infrastructure, including routing and switching, wireless broadband systems, satellite-backed connectivity, centralized Radius authentication platforms, containerized services, and solar-powered network sites. His work ensures that TechDefense’s systems are not only innovative, but operationally reliable, secure, and optimized for real-world conditions in Liberia.

Kwitee is the technical and operational lead of the T-Net Project, TechDefense’s flagship community broadband initiative focused on expanding affordable internet access to rural and underserved communities. Under his leadership, T-Net integrates Starlink satellite uplinks, MikroTik routing, enterprise-grade wireless access points, centralized Radius authentication, and renewable energy systems to deliver dependable public Wi-Fi and home internet services. He has overseen the successful rollout of functional public Wi-Fi stations, the development of the T-Net Radius Platform, the onboarding of micro-franchise partners, and the execution of the T-Net Pleabo deployment in Harper, Liberia.

As COO, Kwitee bridges business operations and technical execution, ensuring that TechDefense’s growth strategy is backed by secure, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure. He leads deployment planning, systems hardening, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement, while aligning technology decisions with long-term sustainability and community impact.

Kwitee’s expertise in telecommunications, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and technology governance makes him uniquely qualified to lead TechDefense’s infrastructure operations and scale the T-Net network nationally. His leadership reflects TechDefense’s mission to deliver practical, resilient, and inclusive digital connectivity solutions that empower communities, institutions, and businesses across Liberia.
